Harman’s high five

Extensive HDMI connectivity is one of the major selling points of Harman Kardon’s five-strong AV receiver line-up for 2008. The 7.2-channel AVR 755, the 7.1-channel AVR 655 (both due in the autumn, prices to be announced) and the 5.1-channel AVR 15 (£450) include HDMI switching with either three or four v1.3 inputs (depending on model) that can pass video signals to 1080p. The quintet is completed by the £750 AVR 355 and £600 AVR 255, both now available.

The top two models will also incorporate cutting-edge Faroudja DCDi Cinema digital video processing.
